Provider Relations

University Hospitals CompCare's provider relations representatives work behind the scenes to facilitate the provider billing and payment process. These representatives work closely with doctors, hospitals and other providers to make sure the proper documentation is filed, that bills are reviewed in a timely way, and that providers receive accurate payment for all University CompCare-authorized, allowed, work-related medical claims.

This function is also important to employers and employees, who can avoid a lot of the administrative questions and concerns associated with preauthorization oversight, bill review, fee schedules and payment processing.

Provider relations representatives join customer service representatives and nurse case managers on employer-specific teams to ensure that employers, employees and providers can reach people who have direct knowledge of particular cases.
