Employers' Workers' Comp Data Hit the Internet at universitycompcare.com

Employers who have University Hospitals CompCare as their workers' compensation managed care organization (MCO) can access their medical claims information online. University Hospitals CompCare is one of the first state-certified MCOs to offer a full-service Web site, www.universitycompcare.com.

At the site, employer clients have access to their first report of injury and claims data, can follow the claims management process, and review medical provider billing information. Participating employers are able to search for specific claims by employee name or Social Security number, claim number, date of injury, and for all claims during a particular time period. From the search results, employers can "drill down" to get data for specific claims. Claims information is updated nightly from the University Hospitals CompCare database.
