A. No. There are no co-payments or deductibles under University Hospitals CompCare coverage.

Q. Who pays my physician and other providers?

A. University Hospitals CompCare makes payments to providers in a timely manner for approved, medically necessary procedures for Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC)-allowed work-related claims.

Q. How do my physician and other providers know whom to bill?

A. Complete billing information is included on your University Hospitals CompCare identification card.

Q. Do I need authorization to receive special health care services?

A. Your case manager will need to pre-authorize some types of services, such as surgeries, admissions and certain diagnostics, when necessary.
